The Danish House in Palestine (DHIP) is celebrating its fifth year anniversary on 17 September 2015 with a reception for friends, partners and donors.

DHIP has evolved into a well-established cultural institution in Ramallah and the West Bank.

During the past five years DHIP has carried out numerous projects and hosted events facilitating cultural exchange between Danes and Palestinians over most of the West Bank working with volunteers and partners.

In 2015 DHIP operates with a budget of DKK 3 million. For this year, DHIP has conducted six major culture projects such as Journalist Exchange with a total of 16 Danish and Palestinian journalists as well as the Palestine Photo Marathon with more than 100 photographers from the West Bank and Gaza. In addition, DHIP arranges concerts, debates and film screenings.
