This visa option is for applicants who wish to study or do research in Denmark.

Applicant will have to provide evidence that he/she falls under this category.

If you plan a short-term visit to Denmark you need to apply for a Schengen Visa. A Schengen Visa will normally allow you to travel in all Schengen member countries, but Denmark is only able grant visas in cases where Denmark is the main destination, meaning the place you will spend most of your time. Please see also FAQ about Schengen Visa for more details.

Note that requirements for long-term students are different.
